Stockcars:
Originally raced in Rotorua as a B-Grade Stockcar class in the 80's, then renamed to Standard Stocks in the 90's the class finally gained national recognition in 2000/2001 and were given the Stockcar name which they currently have today. With weight and engine restrictions identical to it's Superstock brothers, the Stockcar is just that; a Stockcar with standard components.
Contact is allowed, contributing to one of the most entertaining speedway classes today.
