Season Wraps Up With Easter Extravaganza
This weekend the season closes at TWS Paradise Valley Speedway with the tradional Hickey Contractors Easter Extravaganza two night meeting, Saturday 3rd April & Sunday 4th April.
Four New Zealand champs will be competing amongst two groups of Superstocks & Stockcars, a decent field of Modifieds, Production Saloons, Streetstocks and Saloon. The clubs youth ministock racers, both senior & Junior, will be competing for their Rotorua championships on Saturday Night. The season will come to a close with the Bobcat Services Demolition Derby will provide plenty of bash n crash.
Format for the Hickey Contractors Easter Extravaganza
Superstocks & Stockcars
Competitors will he put into two groups, the top 13 from each group from the first night will go on to race for the Hickey Contractors Easter Championship on the second night. Those that do not qualify will race for The Toolshed Champs. The Best Pairs will be on the first night only with one competitor from each pairing in the two separate groups.
Modifieds
The Easter Championship and Best Pairs will be over the six races, 3 each night. The Lakeland Chainsaws and Mowers Bay of Plenty Modified Champs will be over the first three races on the first night. The 15 Lap Ginge Hayward Memorial race will be at the end of the first night. The competitor with the least points will start on pole with the one with the most points at the rear of the field.

Ministocks
The Ministock Competitors will be broken into two groups. The Seniors racing for the Grant0s Services Rotorua Champ and the Jnrs for the Jnr Toolshed Champ.
