2025 Makita New Zealand Stockcar Teams Champs Info


The anticipation is building towards the 2025 Makita New Zealand Stockcar Teams Championships and is set to go up another notch this weekend!
Scrutineering:
This will happen at the Lake Front from 12pm on Friday 21st February 2025


Event Format
* Each Team will have 2 teams Races on Qualifying Night (Friday 21st February)
* Highest 8 Teams on points will Transfer into the Knockout stages while the remaining 5 teams will go into the TWS Tier 2 Championship
* Quarter Finals will look like this

Quarter Final 1 - Team 1st on points vs Team 8th on Points
Quarter Final 2 - Team 2nd on points vs Team 7th on points
Quarter Final 3 - Team 3rd on points vs Team 6th on points
Quarter Final 4 - Team 4th on Points vs Team 5th on points

Semi Final 1 – Winner of QF 1 vs Winner of QF 2
Semi Final 2 - Winner of QF 3 vs Winner of QF 4

7th and 8th Race – Lowest two Qualifying Quarter Final Losers from Night One
5th and 6th Race – Highest two Qualifying Quarter Final Losers from Night One
3rd and 4th Race – Loser of Semi Final 1 and Loser of Semi Final 2
1st and 2nd Race – Winner of Semi Final 1 vs Winner of Semi Final 2
