Twelve days until the first practice at TWS Paradise Valley Speedway. Fingers crossed we get to have this and a complete season as the calendar is full and we are ready to host some great events.
Entries have been coming in via the website for the three big events in January. 17 Have been received for the Sharky's Engineering Ltd Aotearoa Ladies Stockcar Crown while the TWS World 240s has 12. The big one for the season, the TWS NZ Superstock champs, has 15 received. That is great considering the season is not quite underway and the uncertainty of what level the country will be in. Positive thinking is great.
Teams racing is set for a big season too. The Rebels squad is 8 for this coming season and the Rascals is at 19. There is stockcar teams races planned for two club nights, first on the 13th November the Rugrats take on a Baypark team then on the 18th December the Rugrats battle with a Huntly team.
The Rascals are scheduled to race Huntly for the Ross Orr Memorial at the TWS NZ Superstock champs. They then have a race against the Palmerston North Pumas at the TWS World 240s. Keep an eye on their facebook page for details and further announcements.
The Rebels squad is at 8 members for now. First on the cards for the team is Huntly on the 21st November. The team is hoping to get a run before Palmy teams so keep an eye on their facebook page for details and further announcements.
The youth ministock class is full too, the seniors will once again have a full field while there are 16 new juniors. The club has now cut off any new Ministocks, anybody wishing to contract a new Ministock will have to go on the waiting list.
